Welcome to Piano Pedagogy Plus

Welcome to the Piano Pedagogy Plus website! If the site looks different, it is because I have recently converted to the Drupal CMS (the old site was running on Joomla). I like the minimalistic and developer-centric approach of Drupal. The plan is for pedaplus.com to become a hub of web-based applications for music learning games, quizzes, and activities that augment private or classroom lessons. The new FlashNotes game is the first in a series of similar apps that are in the planning stages.

Fifth Game: Intervals

Piano Pedagogy Plus now has five new music theory games. All of these games are FlashCard-style games, where information is presented and the user chooses the correct answer before moving on to the next item. The games are written completely in Javascript, HTML, and CSS so that they run in any modern browser that supports basic HTML5 technologies such as the <canvas> drawing surface. No extra plugin is required to run these games. The five games include FlashNotes, FlashNotes Keyboard, Flash Keys (key signatures), Flash Scale Degrees, and Flash Intervals.
